The Club was affiliated to the GAA in 1925 and incorporates the two half-parishes of Corofin & Belclare.
The official club colours are Saffron and Green.

Club Notes 26 October

MENS NOTES:

Well done to our seniors who defeated Mohill by 1-17 to 0-7 in the quarter final of the Connacht Club Senior Football Championship played in Tuam Stadium on Sunday. The Corofin goal was scored by Mike Farrager early in the second half. Micheál Lundy received the ‘man of the match’ award.
We play St. Mary’s, Sligo in the Connacht semi final in Markievicz Park, Sligo on Sunday 8 November, with throw in at 2.00 pm.

Congratulations to Kieran Fitzgerald, Liam Silke, Ronan Steede, Gary Sice, Michael Farragher and Martin Farragher who have all been selected on the 2015 Claregalway Hotel Dream Team for the Galway Senior Football Championship.
Well done also to Dylan McHugh who is our sole representative on the Dream Team for the Intermediate Football Championship.

Hard luck to our under 12B team who lost out by 2 points to Moycullen, on a scoreline of 4-5 to 4-3, in the U12 Football League – Div 3A final played on Sunday morning.

Don't forget that the CCDA are having a Halloween themed quiz in Raftery’s on Friday night commencing at 9.00 pm. The member’s draw will also take place on the night. Tables of 4 cost €40. Fancy dress is optional. We hope to see you there.

The lotto numbers drawn this week were 10, 20, 26, 30. We had no winners. The Seller's prize went to John Coen. Next week's jackpot is €5,900 and draw in Canavans.

Club Notes 19 October

MENS NOTES:

Our seniors play the quarter final of the Connacht Club Senior Football Championship against Mohill at 2.30 pm in Tuam Stadium on Sunday. Best wishes to all involved.

Well done to the under 21s who defeated Tuam Stars by 11 pts on Sunday on a score line of 2-21 to 3-7.

A sincere thanks to all our supporters who bought tickets and supported our County Final Fundraiser Breakfast Morning in Raftery’s Pub on the morning of the county final. Thanks especially to Corrib Food Products (Stan Lawless), Colleran Meats, Raftery’s Pub, Galway Free Range Eggs, Pat the Baker, Raftery’s Centra and Arrabawn Dairies. Many thanks also to all the people who cooked scones etc., who helped out on the morning and who sold tickets.

Congrats to our under 12 B team who defeated Dunmore McHales by 5-11 to 2-4 to reach the League Final.

The Corofin U6 team had an end of season medal presentation with members of our senior team last Saturday morning in Belclare. The lads were delighted to have the county cup and some of the players with them on Saturday morning.

The lotto numbers drawn this week were 2, 6, 19, 27. We had no jackpot winner and two match 3s – Stan Lawless and Áine Melville. Seller's prize:- Patricia Langan. Next week's jackpot is €5,750 with the draw in the Club Office.

Club Notes 12 October

MENS NOTES:

Congratulations to our seniors who completed the Club’s first ever Galway Championship three-in-a-row with a 3-13 to 0-12 victory over Mountbellew-Moylough in the county final in Tuam Stadium on Sunday. Well done to the players, mentors and all involved. We play Mohill in the Connacht quarter-final in Tuam Stadium on Sunday 25 October, with throw in at 2.00 pm.

A sincere thanks to all who supported our County Final Fundraiser Breakfast morning in Raftery’s Pub on Sunday morning.

We got the weekend off to a good start when our under 12s won the A league final defeating Annaghdown by 3-9 to 2-4 on Saturday. Well done to the team and mentors.

Well done to our under 15s who made it five wins out of five in this year’s division 1A league, defeating Caherlistrane in their final game in Corofin on Monday evening by 7-18 to 5-10.

Thanks to all who supported our underage table quiz last Friday night. Thanks to Raftery's pub, Raftery Centra and Moylough Concrete for sponsoring the raffle prizes. Also thanks to Mark Fahy for setting the questions.

The lotto numbers drawn this week were 6, 11, 15, 20. There was no winner of lotto jackpot or match 3s. Seller's prize Patricia Langan. Next week's jackpot is €5,600 with the draw in Club office.

Club Notes 5 October
MENS NOTES:

Best wishes to our seniors who take on Mountbellew-Moylough in the county final in Tuam Stadium next Sunday with throw in at 3.00 pm. Please give the team plenty of support as they endeavor to retain their county title.

The club are holding a County Final Fundraiser Breakfast morning in Raftery’s Pub on Sunday morning from 9.30 to 12.30. The cost for adults is €10 and for children under 14 is €5. The event is being sponsored by Corrib Food products. Please come along and support us.

Our intermediates defeated Tuam Stars in the league by 0-18 to 0-8. The team are now top of the league having completed all their fixtures.

The numbers drawn for this week's jackpot of €5,300 were 23, 25, 28, 31. The jackpot was not won and there was no match 3. The seller's prize went to Julie Comer. Next week's jackpot is €5,450 and the draw will be held in the Club office.
