Dunmore replied with another point from play, Roisin Leonard then converted a free, then Corofin found the back of the net after a great passage of play with Lisa Leonard getting herself on the scoresheet with a magnificent goal. The crowd was entertained with some great skill and determination from both sides, and when the halftime whistle blew Corofin were leading 1-5 to 0-4. The second half was no different, with great intensity and determination from all corners of the field.
