GALWAY FOOTBALLERS:

Galway footballers lost out to Kerry by 2-11 to 1-15 in division 1 of the league played in Austin Stack Park, Tralee on Saturday. Ronan Steede started at midfield for Galway. The team’s next game is against Donegal on Sunday at 2.00 pm in Letterkenny. TG4 are showing deferred coverage of the game.

TICKETS:

Tickets for the 2020 GAA National Club Draw, costing just €10, can still be purchased from any committee member. The prizes include an All-New Renault Clio, All Ireland Final Tickets, a holiday voucher and many more, with 20 prizes in total. All the monies raised from tickets sold goes directly to club funds.

GALWAY LADIES:

Galway ladies returned to winning ways with a 5-11 to 0-7 win over Westmeath. Well done to the Corofin players Leanne Coen, Roisín and Tracey Leonard who accounted for 3-8 of Galway’s total.

SYMPATHY:

The club offers its sympathy to the family and friends of Seán Lardner Sheffield and formally Ballinderry; Brian Corroon Jnr, Mullingar, nephew of Eddie Collins Caherhugh. May they rest in peace.
