CONNACHT CHAMPIONS:

Congratulations to our senior team who captured the club’s 10th Connacht Senior Club Football Title defeating Pádraig Pearses of Roscommon by 1-10 to 0-7 played in Tuam Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The goal was scored by man of the match, Liam Silke midway through the second half. Well done to all involved with this great victory which brings to a close another successful year for the club in 2019.

However, the team and mentors will have little time to relax as the All-Ireland semi-final is scheduled for early January! We will be taking on the winners of Clonmel Commercials and Nemo Rangers who play in the Munster final at the weekend.

JUNIOR C FINAL:

Our Junior C team suffered a heart-breaking defeat in the county final played in Clonbur on Saturday. Corofin were leading by 2 points deep into injury time but succumbed to a last second Killannin goal to leave the final score Corofin 1-14 to Killannin 4-6. Hard luck to all involved but well done on some great displays all year, including winning a North Board title.

UNDER 20:

Our under 20s are to play Claregalway in the North Board final. This game takes place in Tuam Stadium at 12.00 pm on Saturday. Best of luck to the team.

DREAM TEAM:
